The sound of the haunting penny whistle has found its way to popularity again. Teresa Jennings has created a song that features it prominently in the accompaniment tracks, and the results are stunning. "Penny Whistle" conjures up the spirit of old English folk songs and Medieval drones, inspiring thoughts of faraway places, perhaps long ago. On our recording, we have included guitars, mandolin, and a variety of unusual and ethnic percussion, synthesizers, and of course, penny whistles. And it is the penny whistles that add the special magic.
